Fruity Breakfast Club Roundup

I hosted the Fuss Free Flavours Breakfast Club in September with a fruity theme to tie in with Better Breakfast Week.  Here’s a round up of the entries to give you lots of inspiration for healthier breakfasts as the autumn sets in.

First up were Susan’s lovely Peach and Granola Muffins
via her blog A Little Bit of Heaven on a Plate

Then a lovely Late Summer Fruit Salad with pistachios and pomegranates from the equally lovely Ren at Fabulicious Food.

More muffins next from Jen at Blue Kitchen Bakes – Nectarine and Blacberry Muffins

And more from Ros on her blog More than the Occasional Baker.  There isn’t a recipe for this one so you could follow Jen’s or mine for Lemon and Blueberry Muffins.

She also entered some Bacon, Brie and Fig Muffins.

Chocolate next with these simple Banana and Chocolate Chip Muffins from Sweethearts Cakes and Bakes.

Now this next one was one of my personal favourites – Plum and Lemon Verbena Compote from the fabulously inspiring blog The Garden Deli.

A bit of pastry next with these sumptuous Summer Berry Turnovers from Karen’s Kitchen Stories.

A smoothie is a great way to start the day with a nutritional kick and that’s exactly what Helen at Fuss Free Flavours has been doing with her experiments in the Vitamix to produce this amazing looking Berry and Beetroot Smoothie.

And finally the simplest of them all I think from Mehrunissa and Com.Con.Ella. A nutritious and extremely healthy Avocado Breakfast Pudding.

And if that isn’t enough inspiration, here are a few recipes from me!

There was a breakfast hamper giveaway too and the judges at Baobab HQ chose Susan’s Apricot and Granola Muffins.  Happy baking Susan!

October’s Breakfast Club is over at Anne’s Kitchen with a theme of pastry.  Happy baking!
