Recipes using bananas
/bəˈnɑːnə/
A long curved fruit which grows in clusters and has soft pulpy flesh and yellow skin when ripe.
Bananas have high levels of potassium just like apricots. This helps to normalise your heartbeat and rebalance stress levels. They are also a great source of fibre and contain pectin which helps keep your bowel movements regular. Finally they can help with heartburn because they act as an antacid lining your stomach with mucus and so making a natural barrier for stomach acids.

I love your banana-centric mini post with its soupcon of nutrition information. I HATE banana-flavoured things but love the real article so I will be perusing these in a quiet moment. I do a banana bread with dark choc and cardamom (unblogged) but probs not as tasty as your loaf. Hope your 2012 is off to a great start
Oooh I like the cardamom twist. Must try that!
